Today is a big day! Well, not really...but I'm entertained!
They were doing interviews for for next years dental hygiene students!!!
Yes, we were ALL entertained by this! During our last class (the one that is horribly boring...wait...), we asked the teacher to leave the door open so we could see the prospective students going in to the interviews. Hardly anyone sat in their regular seat so they could cluster around and get a good "viewing" spot. We saw a few people going in, but most of the interviews were after we got out of class. The rest will be tomorrow afternoon when we're done with classes.
We were talking about it all between class instead of studying. Its a big deal to us I think because we remember the interviews like they were YESTERDAY!!! (My birthday last year...seriously, I did four posts that related to the interview!) The second years are getting ready to take their boards in two weeks, next years students are getting chosen...and we feel like we are FINALLY making SOME progress in this extremely taxing program!!! (Friday we'll be half way through second semester...ugh.)
I don't know when they find out who gets in, when we find out who OUR little sister is, or when their orientation is, but its a step for them...and US! I like seeing progress, it makes me happy! :-)
In other news, I obviously haven't posted the rest of the pictures or video from Ethan's birthday. Sorry. And, well, Natalie had her birthday party this last weekend as well. (While I was on spring break so she could have a slumber party.) Those pictures aren't going to be posted for a bit either. Three tests this week, another two next week...all kinds of stuff all the time! I'm sure I'll need a break from studying sometime soon and I'll sit on my bum on the couch and post them, but for now, time to study for a quiz and test tomorrow that I haven't looked at the stuff at all yet... ;-)
Oh, and I'm on week TWO of no caffeine (soda-I don't drink coffee)...its not fabulous still. Lots more headaches, tons of cravings (seriously), and I'm really really tired all the time. Probably not the best time to do this, but better now than never! I saw my headache doctor last week and she said to give it another two/three months before I see a difference...nice.

2-3 months before you see progress on your headaches. Is caffeine like crack? Does it stay in our spine? I mean DAMN! Good luck sweetie the cravings are very hard to get past. BUT water is good and tasty...right?!
I hope Natalies sleep over went well. And I cant imagine what it feels like to see that you have come so far. Seeing those interviewers was a glimpse in hte past and must have been beyond entertaining. The memories!
