We were able to go to dinner after my interview on my birthday. There were tornado watches and warnings around us, but not in our county. If you stay inside every time you hear a warning...you won't do much while living in Nebraska! We went to dinner at a place that has really good ribs. I'm not a big pork fan...but I love their ribs! Apparently it was kids night too! There was a lady there making balloon animals and hats for all the kids! I asked her if I could take a couple pictures, and she posed so nicely for me!!! ;-)
I took video of her at work because I was quite entertained...I'm easily amused, I know! First she made Nikole's hat.
Then Natalie's, I love her giggle!
The rest of Nat's hat.
Last, but not least, Ethan's! The end is quite entertaining!
When she was getting ready to go to the next eagerly awaiting kids, she did a trick with her stool. All three kids said, "____ that came to our school did that!!!" It was her brother! They then had a conversation about who was better at doing that stool trick. Which of course was her because her stool was pink!
Don't you wish you had a party hat like that?!?!
It was a great dinner! The kids didn't bicker like they normally do (probably due to a talk we had before dinner!), and the food was great! We did have water drip on us a bit because the rain was coming down really hard and sideways for a while...but it got Roby and me dinner for two in the next 90 days! I'm ok with that! By the time we left, all the clouds had passed and tornado warnings had expired. Considering the outcome of my interview, a FABULOUS day!!!

Im so glad you had a good time! We are midwesterners so we totally get the tornado warning thing. You have to learn to tell for yourself if it's safe to go out cause the warnings would keep you well locked up for your whole life if you don't. The hat lady sounds awesome! I love those hats!
Those hats are awesome!!!! Glad you got out to relax for an evening! Have fun packing! Wish I were there to help!
Hugs
