I know, I know, this isn't the rest of Ethan's birthday pictures...or Natalie's birthday party pictures...but its something! Its quick and easy and well, I have a lot going on! :-)
Last week Natalie's Browning troop went to Sk8 City for their meeting! Families were invited to go, so Ethan and I went along! (Roby was gone.) I got home from school, got Natalie from the after school program, we grabbed some dinner and headed over. None of us had been there before, so we were all pretty excited! (The last time I had been to a ROLLER skating rink was not long after moving to Walla Walla, and I'm pretty sure that was just in a gym like building of a church!)
Natalie wasn't quite sure about skating for a while, but was still having a blast!
Fonda grabbed my camera and started snapping away! Please remember that I had been in school since 7am! (Clinic starts at 8, so we have to set up and make sure all our records and papers are in order.)
I told Natalie I would hold her hand so she could learn how to pick her foot up to push. I think she just wanted me to pull her faster!
I think Natalie only held my hand around once or twice, after that she was all on her own. She wasn't going much faster, but was still having a good time!
Ethan and Nat! He opted for rollerblades instead! He was going around pretty fast too! I wish we had him on skates more often! We may have to get him some for summer!
Towards the end, there was a song "just for the guys." There weren't as many guys! Let Ethan go fast and not have to worry about hitting anyone!
About 45 minutes before we had to leave, Nat was going to the restroom and fell...lets just say that it was time to leave after that. She felt horrible. We were going to try and see Roby for lunch on Saturday, but it didn't work, so we went back to Sk8 City instead! It was a fun thing to do for a few hours to keep their minds busy, bodies active, and do together!
And now, back to studying...

J and I use to go skating a lot as kids, as well as ice skating. I remember lots of birthday parties at skating rinks when I was younger. Now I didnt even know people still went. Interesting. Glas y'all had fun.
