Because he got that fabulous desk as an extremely early birthday present, his presents yesterday were minimal.

Finally! He really was excited, a big smile followed this pic!
As soon as he was done he asked if we could go to the store and get a Nintendo DS that he's been saving for since Christmas. I couldn't say no! We tried the BX first as we don't have to pay tax there, but they were sold out. He was able to get a game that he wanted though! We then went to another store where he got the DS before heading home for dinner.

When we got home we had to see how much he has grown in the last year!!! Another inch and a half!!!
We have enough opportunity for cake with four birthdays so close, so I asked Ethan what kind of desert he might want on his birthday. He wanted Roby's favorite cookies! I could do that! Natalie helped out by bringing his cookie-cake in the front room.

About an hour after I tucked him in, he came out and said he couldn't sleep because he was so happy about finally being ten years old! I remember those days!!!
