On November 30th...yup November...the kids and I went to a couple stores looking for a new tree topper. We've had the same one since Ethan was a baby, and it was getting tattered. One of the stores we went to was a big craft/novelty store.
Before I knew it, the kids eyed him. Natalie squealed and Ethan grinned real big! Sitting, waiting, smiling, jolly as can be! It was Santa! He started making his rounds super early this year! (If I would have known...the kids would have been dressed in something cute, and Natalie's hair would have been freshly brushed! And of course, they are content and don't want to go see Santa where we saw him last year... I really really wanted to take them there again this year.)

Natalie telling him that she wants an Easy Bake Oven and pink Lego's!
After we saw Santa, we still had to look for a star to top our tree. Natalie danced along to the holiday music!
We didn't find our tree topper there, or the next three stores we went to. But when I went in a different store looking for one last thing for Natalie I found the perfect one! I'll have to take a picture (eventually!!!).

That Santa looked rather friendly and not so creepy. This is good, right? And Nat dancing in the store made me miss shopping for some strange reason. There are so many changes in our near future!
