We finally set the Christmas tree up on Tuesday. I think from now on we need to just do it the weekend after Thanksgiving so it actually gets up! The kids are EXTREMELY excited for Christmas! They are doing their countdowns every day and the house seems festive! I'll post another pic or two next week!
Yesterday I signed up to take my written Dental Hygiene national board exams! I paid for it earlier in the week, things got approved, and I signed up early to get the date I wanted! I was hoping to take it on my birthday (I got into the program having my interview on my birthday), but the day wasn't available. I'll be taking it on March 28th! (This is a wee bit scary to think about!)
I have two finals tomorrow. A final and a Power Point presentation on Tuesday. My clinic conference on Wednesday. On Thursday will be an all day briefing at the VA so we can work there next semester... THEN I'm on winter holiday!! I can't wait!
We've gone to two more Lowe's Build and Grow activities. We'll be going again on Saturday to finish a train they've been making! The kids love it, it gives us something simple and fun to do together, and its free! I have pictures of that as well, but haven't had time to post any.
On Sunday next weekend I'm co-hosting a baby shower... I've been stressing over ordering a cake, getting her a present, cleaning and decorating the house, etc. But today I remembered a friend had made Cake Pops (just one of many examples and recipes) and I thought it would be adorable and fun to make! (Besides, the store I usually buy our cakes from had really ugly baby shower cakes). We'll see how they turn out!
Roby's at a hockey game before going to work. He's been on 12 hour shifts all month. I wish we were watching him play tonight but I need to study (thus why I'm avoiding studying and posting this...). I can't wait until he gets back from his next trip and he's on a regular shift again!
PLUS: 152 days until I graduate!
