School Halloween Party

I'm always excited when the kids have their parties on a Friday afternoon. They've had them other days of the week and I can't attend. After clinic on Friday I grabbed something to eat and headed over to their school.

Natalie walking in the "costume parade."

One of Ethan's friends had this mask and let him wear it for a bit...I'm not a huge fan of the mask...its from a scary movie that freaked me out!

Ethan and some of his friends.

Because they are sixth graders (the highest grade in the school), they get to have their parties in the gym. They were all really excited about it because its the first one they've had there.

I ended up going back and forth between the parties. Roby has been able to make a quite a few of their parties, but he was on alert this time.

The room mom had a really cute project for the kids to do. They took flower pots and made mummies!

Art is such hard work!

Telling me how he didn't look nice and clean anymore and that he looked more like a real mummy!

Cheese!

What happened to Natalie's eyes?!

She was making me laugh!

Showing me the cookie under all that frosting!

There was a LOT giggling!

Mmmmmm

The result of unlimited cheese balls!

Ethan and one of his friends that lives down the street...Ethan is a wee bit shorter than almost all his friends. He'll get that growth spurt soon!

For the first half of the party Ethan was eating, he finally decided to join the festivities.

They were playing a game where they would have to run to a different hoop when she said the name of something specific (video at the end). Simple, yet fun!

Right before school got out I went back to Nat's class to get her and Nikole. (Ethan wanted to walk home with friends.)

I love seeing these smiles!

The costume parade. I don't think she knew I was there!

Ethan is a hula-hooping master!

I remember boys doing this in grade school. I could never do it, and I don't think it felt very good!

Playing the game where they had to run to a different hoop.
