I had been thinking about taking the kids to another baseball game or something fun before fall hit. When I heard on the radio that last night was the last game at Rosenblatt Stadium, I figured it was time to go! I was talking to a friend in my class and she said she could get us tickets because her boyfriends friend used to play on the visiting team! Even better, we could go to the game for FREE! I got out of clinic, came home changed and got the kids. I didn't tell them where we were going, saying that it was a surprise. Natalie asked me over and over if we were going to a movie. When I pulled over 0.6 miles from the stadium, because it was that busy...Ethan jumped up and said, "Are we going to the very very last game at Rosenblatt?!" It was adorable!

Natalie and Ethan played on a giant stone baseball. Nat bought that hat with her allowance! She has worn it in public twice and has gotten at least five compliments!
You can't go to a game without getting at least one yummy snack! The kids agreed it was a cotton candy night.
A little after nine it was only the 7th inning. We all have school today so it was time for us to go.
I was going to take another picture using my other hand because it would give me more control, but a woman walked up and asked if she could take it for us. She was with one other girl and there were tons of people around so I let her and thanked her. She even gave my camera back! :-)
It was a great break from the regular nightly routine! Much needed...would have been better if Roby was home!
