Yup, faaaar behind. I still haven't even gotten pictures off my video camera! At least these are going up I suppose! Looking at these pictures from just five months ago I'm surprised at how much the kids have grown and changed. I guess it's a good reminder that most of the people that look at this blog only get to see the kids every few years. I'm sorry we are so far away and that I've been so bad at posting pictures lately. I'll try harder to keep up this year, but no promises.
Natalie invited a bunch of girls over for a slumber party. First thing on the agenda? Craft time! We found a cute dog in dog house for pretty cheap at a craft store and we already had paint...perfect! (Ethan chose a project to paint as well.)
This took them a lot longer than I thought it would. I guess they are coming to the perfectionist stage...one girl kept working long after the other girls were done. I finally told her that she needed to finish up so she could go play.
Natalie designed her birthday cake herself! She wanted an "artist" cake, but of course they didn't have anything she wanted. So she explained to the cake decorator what she wanted. We were all having a hard time trying to put her words to cake form, and I don't think its what she wanted exactly...but it still looks pretty cool!
