Splash!

I'm trying to find things out of the house to do while Roby is sleeping. These things need to be cheap and entertain the kids for a while. We didn't get a zoo pass this year because I figured I'd bee too busy, like I was last year, to use it much. Yesterday we went to a Splash Park (which is FREE) for almost three hours! It was HOT (heat index of around 105), so this was a perfect activity! I let the kids take charge of my waterproof camera for a while. They thought it was fun and took tons of pics! (I'm not posting them all!) I should have warned them that although waterpoof, getting drops of water in front of the shutter will blur out most pictures.

This was Ethan's first pic.

See, blurry pics. Still fun though!

Natalie playing with a water gun.

Nat's turn with the camera! She got a couple pictures of Ethan before he ran away.

I think this is Nikole running through a "kid wash" as I like to call it.

Ethan taking a break.

I have no idea what either of these faces are for. I asked Natalie and she just busted up laughing.

I thought this was a pretty good pic of Nikole, courtesy of Natalie!

Maggie went along. We are trying to take her places with us to get her around more people and whatnot. She got a LOT of love from the kids and parents!

One of the girls I worked with at Target came with her two kiddos. Natalie giving one of them a big hug!

Yup, like father like son!

This is my favorite pic of Natalie and Nikole. They were running around most of the time holding hands or chasing Ethan together.

I have no idea what they were doing...sitting on water spouts???

This was Natalie's reaction when I told her we were leaving in ten minutes. :-)

Natalie getting a bucket of water dumped on her.

All three getting a bucket of water dumped on them!

Looks like Ethan was in charge.

Cheese!!!

They all said it was a lot of fun! I thought they would be the oldest kids there, but after an hour or so there were several others their age and older. I think we'll have to go back at least one more time before summer break is over!

290 days until I graduate!

I agree, go back. This looks like so much fun! Im sure if I dont take the kids soon the water will be turned off. I know it only comes on certain times of the year. Most likely that HOT time I wont take the kids in the sun. UGH!
