Max
5-year-old maleAdoption: Coming Attraction!
Activity level: High
Training: Accomplished
Compatibility: Adults, older kids and dog buddies
Hi! I am Max, which is short for Maxwell T. Grrin III. Sorry for the formality, but that’s what my foster dad calls me. There are two other Goldens named Max that are in foster care at the same time as me! I wanted a name that would stand out, as I am a stand-out kind of guy.
I’m 5 years young and full of energy. I love my foster home with my dog pals, Harley and Maggie, to run and play with!
My foster dad, Terry, has kept me on my toes. I have learned to be good on a leash, sit, lie down and speak. I “speak” so well that Terry gives me an A+. When he tells me to be quiet, I stop.
I thought I was a good singer, but maybe I need lesson and a talent agent before I go big time.
I’m great with older kids and my dog playmates. I can’t say what I think of cats–I never met one! What are they?
I have to spend a little more time in my foster home before you can meet me.
Just remember Maxwell T. Grrin III or my special number, 10-40, to find me!!!

I got all teary-eyed, am still having to hold back tears. I know he is doing just fine, and am sure he is having a blast with the other dogs at his foster home. That doesn't make it any easier.
One cool thing, he is the only dog on the whole website that has "advanced" under his training. At least we did something right.

This made me teary eyed. But its super cute!
I know it's hard. Just keep thinking that this is the best for all in this situation. He will find a wonderful new home because you loved him enough to surrendered him before he got too aggressive with the kids. Hugs!
