Happy Easter!

Roby is gone, but we were able to have dinner with him last night! The kids slept in, which was fabulous! I got out of bed at 8 and decided to try a recipe I may use for my nutrition project. HEALTHY waffles! They were better than I thought they would be, and the kids loved them! They got full on fewer waffles than they normally eat! ;-)

After waffles it was time to see what they got in their Easter baskets.

Natalie has been really into Webkinz lately. So she was thrilled to get a new one!

At ten we went over to Fonda's for our Easter egg hunt. There were TONS of eggs between the two of us! We both had some from last year and I think we each bought one/two new packages. We're crazy! There wasn't much in each egg, but we thought it would be more fun to make them search longer!

They are kind of hard to see...but there were a LOT! In the grass, tress, bushes, etc!

We made them line up and close their eyes before they could start searching...

...ready...set...GO!

The girls were running around like crazy, running past some, picking up others!

Ethan had a slightly more methodical approach.

Grabbing EVERY egg he saw!

We told them that there was ONE golden egg that had a SUPER special surprise in it.

They thought it would be out in the open, easy to find.

After all the other eggs were found, no one had found the golden egg. We may have put it up a little too high for them to see...So, we had them go to the side of the house to rehide it.

After they had all been in the area many MANY times, Natalie finally found it!

She was a little excited!
