Another Year Has Flown By

And Ethan is 11 already!

I can hardly believe how this can happen! :-) He keeps growing for some reason! There is no way I can top last years post, I have a head cold (fever, sore throat, congestion, ick), and am extremely busy with school...so I won't even try!

Ethan requested sausage, toast and eggs for breakfast today.

Today was also "dress up like your favorite career day" at school. I wasn't about ready to buy or make something, so the kids had to be creative. Natalie decided to go as a "military girl," and Ethan was a professional skateboarder.

Ethan invited five friends to come over after school today to spend the night. Four of them showed up! (The other got in trouble for something having to do with saying he could come, but couldn't...I'm not sure.) Nikole came too to keep Natalie entertained.

After pizza we had some YUMMY cake! Ethan chose a Star Wars cake for some reason, and it looked better than I thought it would.

I have video of the singing (and something in the morning...but I'm not feeling well, and don't feel like getting up to get the camera right now) that I'll post tomorrow...

I told him that meant he would ONLY have ONE girlfriend this year! He giggled and one of his friends said, "You should have blown one out at a time!" That made ME giggle!

The only drama so far was that Ethan got a bloody nose. I'm just glad it was Ethan and not one of the other boys. They were wrestling and one of his friends smacked him in the nose on accident. Blood on the carpet, all over his arms, hands, shirt, and me. We did get it to stop in less than ten minutes and he's doing fine now. It didn't hurt when I moved it, so its not broken. Ugh Kids!!! (Thanks Grandma for the advice on cleaning the carpet, it came right up!)

Its not even 10pm yet, so I'm sure they will be up for some time still. I may pass out waaaaay before they do. Seriously, this cold/flu is not fun! The boys probably won't leave until noon tomorrow, and I have a few pancakes to make in the morning!!! More pictures and video to come!
