Finals

I'm taking a break from studying for finals. Its hard to believe this semester is almost done. At times it has seemed to take for ever, other times it has flown by. I'm very much not ready to see actual patients at the beginning of next semester!!!

I'm also very much not ready for finals! Cumulative finals are horrible, especially when classes are 18 weeks long! Some classes seem to overlap a bit, which helps some, but there is just SO much information and we have to know it ALL. I'm so nervous, overwhelmed, scared. My first and probably hardest is tomorrow. Anatomical Science for Dental Hygienists. Exciting stuff!!! But then I have another two written ones on Monday and one on Wednesday. Thursday I'm taking my radiology lab final on Roby! 20 x-rays!!! On Tuesday next week I have to identify 20 teeth; top/bottom, right/left, and name.

I'm taking Natalie in to the dentist tomorrow because one of her top middle teeth (central incisors!) is growing in behind her bottom teeth. Its also pushing out the tooth next to it that isn't supposed to come out for another year or so. I just want to have it looked at and see if it will go into place by itself or see if she needs a retainer or something (I had one for a similar reason when I was her age! But it was a lateral incisor! haha The things we remember!)

Ethan starts basketball tomorrow! He was supposed to start last week, but he was sick. He's a little excited! I'm glad, because he had a bad attitude about it when I signed him up! :-) Sometimes mom's know a little bit of something!

I'm talking to Natalie's Brownie troop on Wednesday about how important it is to keep their mouths clean and eat right! haha That should be interesting! I bought them each a FireFly toothbrush that lights up for a minute (very cheap!) to help them remember how long to brush, printed two coloring pages, and a brushing chart. Of course its perfect timing with my finals...

Ok, I need to get back to studying, but also need that little break! Hope everyone is well!
