Has another school year finished already?! It amazes me how quickly it goes by every time! Wednesday was the kids' last day of school! I'm still not used to schools getting out in May and starting in August! Although I just started posting pictures of things around our house, I figured I would take a break from that and post pictures of their last day of school! (I went to their "Field Day" on Monday, but I'll save those pictures and video for later.)
As the kids were getting up and getting ready for school, I heard Ethan say to Natalie, "Seven more hours and five minutes until I'm a fifth grader!!!"
I couldn't help but laugh! The pure joy and excitement is so wonderful!!!
As Natalie was sitting down to eat breakfast, I grabbed my camera and we had this little conversation:

Me: I need to take pictures of my kiddos on their last day of school!
Nat: Then you can put them on your computer writing thingy!
She knows me too well!
Looking at the flowers she gave her teacher as part of the little "thank you gift" we gave her.
BIG bite!
Unlike most first/last day of school pictures in the past, we had to drive, so I don't have walking pics. Instead, I took car pics! (Maybe not the safest choice, but I only did it while stopped!)
So stinking cute! At least I think so!
We try to take Maggie with us as often as possible to get her used to the car more. She loves the ride for the most part...but gets upset when the kids get out.
After school pics tomorrow...'cause I always take a ton! :-)

Wow, schools out already. I cant wait for school to get our here for many reasons. The kids are looking so big these days and I guess I really noticed in these pics. Maybe it was the fact I remember other end of year pics in front of doors and how little they were.
Wow the kids look so much bigger in these last pictures. They both look really really excited about the last day of school. I remember those days like it was yesterday =]
I love your new colors on here.
