Before you look too closely at what my kids got in their baskets...let me defend myself... So, I went shopping on two occasions and completely forgot what I had purchased the first time. To top it off, this was before I cleaned my closet. If you are like me, you tend to have a few things hidden "in case of emergencies." Such as for last minute birthday parties, or things you found on really good clearance sales. I figured now was as good of time as any to get some of these things out of my closet and into my kids' room! I don't want my new closet to be quite as cluttered as this one has been! That said, their Easter baskets were, well, full. $8 Lego sets and things I was going to give them anyway look like a LOT! :-)
Maybe next year, when boxes haven't invaded our (NEW!!!) house, I'll be able to hide the baskets or do something a little more creative!

She is really into these mini Barbies. I'm all for it! They are really cute and she loves anything mini!
Kindereggs!
When Roby was on his last trip, he was actually at our last base! He specifically got them each a thing of Kindereggs for their baskets!
Finally, a case for her DS!
(See, one of those things that I was going to give her anyway...just more fun this way!)
This Barbie is something that she has been wanting for a loooong time. When she had her birthday money, I thought she was going to get it. But she wanted to get a Nintendog DS game instead. (Seriously, I'm encouraging playing with toys, so I had to get it!)
Telling me about how he'd seen this, and how he really really wanted it! Score for me! ('Cause I sooo didn't know!)
I'll try to go through the egg hunt pictures later today. We'll see if I can! We have our housing "pre-inspection" tomorrow so a little more cleaning needs to be done. I cleaned the oven/stove yesterday while Roby did the fridge. But I'd like to get to the rest of the kitchen and bathrooms. Maybe even see if I can get some marks off the walls and mop the floor. We'll see how motivated I am after I get some homework done! ;-)

All my brothers & sisters have DS's so we're always buying them DS games, & I wanted to tell you about half.com, it's partner with ebay but you don't bid on stuff you just buy and it's all books, games, movies for almost half the price. We love half.com.
Oh goodness, those baskets were AWESOME! Hey I have to ask...does that dog poop? The Barbie one? I saw one that does and has little doggie poo, its hilariously disgusting.
Guess what...we got some kindereggs today too! Thank you, the kids will be over the moon when I finally give them to them. At the moment I think they will be stored away for a less candy filled moment. OMG the candy!
