Natalie's 7th Birthday-Day

After adding about half of these pictures I realized that I probably should have made them smaller or posted them in two days...but today will just be a Natalie's birthday overload and get it all done!!! Not only that, but it was a nice day and I had an assignment due that Friday so I took a bunch of pictures after school that day as well. So many pictures...all the time...so many pictures! ;-)

Before going to school I let Nat open one present. She is for sure our daughter, not much of a morning person!

These pictures are proof...most are quite blurry!

She got a very pretty ring!!!

I asked her what she thought it was.
"Pajamas?"
She didn't seem very enthused!

Still not very excited.

She actually looked at me and said, "Mom, what is it?"

I laughed and told her it was a sweatshirt that was washed and she could wear it to school as it was still pretty cool. Once she realized that and felt how soft the inside was, she actually was really happy!

I told her that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to go to lunch with her as I had to go to the house inspection, but I got there five minutes before lunch time! She was soooo excited, jumping up and down!!! Love it!!!

Explaining that the kindergarteners had to line up first, they still had five minutes before their bell.

I asked her if she wanted to go play until her bell, but she just wanted to stand with me until it was time to go in.

First graders in line.

I did use this one for my assignment.

Waiting in line for lunch.

Getting her food.

I think she talked the entire time I was there! I don't know how she managed to eat her lunch!

Natalie was thrilled that it was "student choice" day on her birthday! Almost every time that happens, the kids chose to have french toast sticks with other "yummy" food, usually including ice cream!

I love her eyes!

I used this one for my assignment too...random I know! But he liked it for some odd reason.

After dinner, I don't know why I loaded these this way, Natalie opened her cards and presents from us.

So excited!

I love her expressions!

So rich!!!

She just had to count it!

I love how something as simple as one dollar bills results in a smile like this!

Listening intently as Roby read her the card.

More money! This child of mine needs to take me shopping! ;-)

Ooooo The card came with a crown!

Ethan helping her keep it on.

We forgot to wrap the presents from him...she didn't mind!

At first she didn't understand why I was giving her a little black bag, then she looked inside!

She got my "old" point-and-shoot camera as her "big" present!!!

Her own fancy clock!

Silly girl!

I'd say "spoiled" is an appropriate word! ;-)

I have no idea what he was doing...they just crack me up!

Natalie requested chicken or mac and cheese for dinner. So I made a yummy chicken and home made macaroni and cheese! It was fabulous!

After opening presents, it was time for birthday desert. Although she had cake at her party, I still like to sing to the kids on their birthdays. (Ethan had cookies...Nat had a brownie! She didn't eat all of it, it was split four ways!!!)

Ethan asked if he could could carry it in to her.

Last, but not least...getting measured is a must on your birthday! She grew just over TWO inches in a year!!!

She asked if I would take a picture of her with the balloons I hung from her door (I hung streamers from Ethan's).

Ethan wanted in on the picture action!

Cheese!!!

Phew! And if there are miss-spellings and grammor errors...sorry! I'm too tired and this post is too long to look at it right now! ;-)
