As most of you know, this semester I'm taking a photography as well as a digital photography class. My second assignment for the photo class has to do with looking at the pictures we take "abstractly." Paying attention to framing, composition, shape, colors, etc is whats important. This was much harder than I thought it would be! I think I took over 450 pictures by the time I was done! Every time I would load the pictures and look at them, I would think, "I could have done that differently, or moved this way, or turned the camera that way..." I guess thinking about your pictures is a step in the right direction!
I had to turn in at least 40, and of those, I will be showing the class 5 (tomorrow or Friday). Because I've been taking so many pictures for class, I'll be sharing those for a while! For the most part, they are still pictures of the kids, but I'm trying to take more than just "snapshots"... I know I haven't improved much on this first assignment, but hopefully by the end of the semester I will!!!

I really wanted a picture of Natalie hugging her teacher, but there were like four kids in the way. I took the pic...but its not good at all! This one is a little better, not what I wanted, but still kind of cool.
Just so you know, I probably could have said this earlier, I'm saving my favorites and the ones I'm showing for last! ;-)
More tomorrow!
