Natalie's Field Trip -- Part Two

One of the boys in our group quickly grabbed Natalie's hand to comfort her. He had been there many times before and told her what was coming next. (I thought it was adorable how he didn't want her to be scared!!! But I'm still not sure how I feel about my six year old holding hands with a boy!!!)

Once we got out of the swamp area...the hand holding didn't stop!

Looking at some gorillas trying to stay out of the rain.

All the classes met up for lunch. I was surprised that everyone had a chair to sit in! (This is when the boy in our group threw up...luckily his mom was there with several of his siblings, so was able to take him home.)

After lunch we headed over to the jungle area. There was a cool rope ladder next to a waterfall. Natalie wanted to go across, but got scared when it was our turn.

My little monkey!

Cheese! In front of another waterfall.

All three holding hands walking through the jungle.

Back on the bus...

...a little more tired than when we got on that morning!

It was a lot of fun despite the rain! Luckily they have quite a bit to do inside!!!

There is no hand holding allowed after scary section has passed! Just saying...Nat you crack me up. Sounds like a good trip. I look forward to taking the boys to a zoo in the states although Im not sure how different it will be. Besides the obvious language thing.
