After running all the trails, we headed back inside to see the other two levels of the museum.
They loved the mosquito display! There was a place that you stuck your hand in (if you were brave enough!) and it felt like mosquitoes were landing on you!
Checking out the kinds of medicine they took along...the small amount had to last them the entire two years.
Then we headed upstairs, where there was a lot of information about the local wildlife.
I love his expression in this picture!
We still had almost an hour before lunch and we were done looking at everything (this was the first time the school had taken this field trip). We headed outside to look at the keelboat.
Ethan's teacher was there and offered to take a picture with me in it! (She said that she always went with her kids, but rarely had proof!!!)
We all decided to eat lunch a little early. Then the kids played around on the keelboat and grass until it was time to head back to school.
The trip was a lot of fun, and I think we all learned a lot! I enjoy going with them, and hope this isn't the last trip I'll be able to take with Ethan! (I'm afraid that school and eventually work will prevent me from going on future trips.)
