Ethan loves trying to skateboard in the backyard. He has two boards, and Natalie wanted to try. Her helmet was too small this year, so she put on Ethan's and all his pads! I LOVE the skirt and protective pad combination!!! Ethan was so cute trying to tell her how to get on the skateboard and what to do! I couldn't resist posting most of the pictures I took that day!
Although I thought you were supposed to put your foot over the bolts, he was telling her to put her foot farther back. I wasn't going to butt in, so I let them do their thing.

I think he was showing her to put her front foot on first here. She was using the wall so she wouldn't fall!
She has only tried skating one other time, but they both had a lot of fun! They ride their scooters constantly...maybe because it doesn't require as much protective gear!!! Those are our backyard staple!
