The kids have class parties before school gets out! They get to dress up (in last years costumes), eat snacks, and play games. They are beyond excited! Then of course will come trick-or-treating later tonight! I love getting them dressed up and watching them walk door to door! Many pictures will be posted later this week I'm sure!

He looks like a fat, jolly little guy doesn't he?
Ethan had worked so hard on his, I felt really bad for him. So this morning I carved the other side. Its not from a pattern (obviously) because we threw all that stuff away--carvers included. But I think he'll be happy that at least his pumpkin still has a face and can be lit up tonight!

I like what you carved, that is more what I am use to. The kits are so beyond what I ever did as a kid. I mean the whole large knife thing wasnt great with details but all we had. There is NOTHING wrong with a traditional jack-o-lantern.
Oh my!! I can't believe the little rat did that!! I would have been SO mad! You are such a good mom to fix the pumpkins up despite your greedy (uninvited) guest!!
Did that little scamp eat the pumpkin or just gnaw on it and drop the pieces? They can be very destructive. Happy Halloweening.
