As a lot of you know, because Ethan didn't do band in elementary school, he gets to take choir this year. He seems to be ok with it, often telling me about the songs they are learning. They will have two performances, one was earlier this month and the other will be at the end of the year. I took a couple videos of the songs I knew he liked, so hopefully by the time this posts I'll have them up as well.

Several months ago I asked to have the afternoon of Natalie's Christmas party off work. Up until the day before, I was asked at least daily if I could work and "go to her next party instead." Nope! One of the reasons why I wanted to be a dental hygienist instead of a nurse is so I can still participate in some of my kids' activities. I won't be able to go to every party/field trip/etc, but I want to go when they still want me there! Natalie was thrilled that I was able to make it, and because I didn't help with any of the projects, I was free to enjoy her company.
