For the last two years I thought that once I graduated things would slow down a bit. I was wrong. I've been running around like crazy the last week. I've had three job interviews, TONS of errands, I've attempted to clean, and started packing for our trip.
This afternoon I was asked to go back to clinic to show the new second year students how to be a clinic and radiology assistant as well show them things on the computer that they didn't have to use until now. I spent almost two hours doing that in groups. It was kinda fun being the one that knew everything! When I was done, I talked to the instructors for a bit. It was interesting having them treat me like a peer instead of a student! When me getting the Golden Scaler and Director's awards came up, I told them how truly surprised and honored I was. They told me that they decided to give me the Golden Scaler award back in January! Crazy! :-)
Natalie and I are off to go to her Girl Scout camping trip. The girls have been looking forward to this for months! I'm happy that we are staying in a lodge instead of a tent! ;-) I'm not sure all they have planned besides hiking and archery...but I do know its been raining for over 24 hours and the forecast says its going to continue. Should be interesting!
