I just realized I never posted my clinical board exam grade! Drum roll please! ............................... I got 100%!!!
Yesterday was my very last day of clinic! It's still hard to believe! It seems like it was just a few days ago that the class before me had their last day! On Thursday my patient didn't show. I needed to finish up a few requirements and couldn't find anyone else to come in. Roby was amazing and showed up just after 3 so I could do the requirements on him. Yesterday Ethan and Natalie were my patients. I don't know if I'll get any points for them, but it was a great way to finish my dental hygiene schooling!

A pic with mom.
In order to get our anesthesia license, we had to give a certain number of injections and induce at least four nitrous oxide sedations. Four doesn't seem like a lot, but none of my patients in the last year wanted it or needed it. I did one on Roby, and still needed one more. Ethan was the lucky candidate! At the time he said he didn't feel any different, but his eyes were fluttery and he was really happy!

A pic with mom. We were REALLY excited that he was my very last patient!
A nice one.
One of my good friends in the program, Kristen, and I.
Just like my kids get ice cream on their last day of school, we went and got ice cream on my last day! (I still have a couple finals next week.) About half way home, the kids passed out!
I'm not sure when it will feel real that I don't have to go to school every day. Probably not until I get a job! I hope I'm able to find something, only three people in my class have a job lined up as of yesterday...
7 days until I graduate!
