Natalie's 9th Birthday Party

Because of my board exam being three days after Natalie's birthday, I thought it would be a bit easier to have her party early. She invited seven girls, six showed up, and five spent the night. Lets just say it was a loud, high pitched evening. The girls ran around and played, we had pizza, more playing, we started making "letter pillows," had cake and sherbet, opened presents, finished the pillows, more playing, then finally a movie at 11:00 pm.

This was the only time the girls were quiet for more than 30 seconds before bed time.

After some running around it was time to start out project.

Natalie wanted pink roses on her cake this year.

"Happy Birthday to Natalie!"

She's so goofy! :-)

Mmmmm Cake and sherbet!

Present time!

She told one of her friends that she wanted sewing stuff, she delivered! Her own sewing kit, thread, and fabric to make a quilt!

We decided to let her open her BIG present with her friends. She'll get a few small things on her birthday.

The first thing she got were little glasses...

Then a hair brush...

FINALLY, her very own American Girl Doll!

I love this pic!

Look, twins!

She was smiling NON-stop!

I have the BEST video of her opening the doll. There is a great squeal that shows just how excited she was! But, the file is twice the size I'm allowed to upload, and my video editing program isn't working...of course. I'll add it when I have more time to figure out what's going on.

One of her friends doesn't stay the night, so we made sure to get her pillow done first and were able to take a picture of all of them before she left.

A few letters are backwards...but super cute! I hope they like them! :-)

I feel bad that I didn't post pictures of Ethan's birthday yet...I will get to it I promise!
