Natalie went in today for the second part of getting her braces on (she had a spacer in for a week between her back two teeth). One of the girls in my class used to work there, so she has been working there this summer. I called her yesterday with a question, and she helped out more than I thought she could/would. Natalie has been upset that she wasn't going to have her braces on before school started. She didn't want to go to school without them, then get them on her third day of school. So, I asked my friend if there was any way they could just put the four front brackets on today so it will look like she has them on already. My friend called me back and said they would be able to! Natalie was jumping up and down and made a "thank you card" for both my friend and the orthodontist (without any prompting from me!).

I have no idea what this face was for, but it made me laugh! :-)
They took an impression of her teeth today as well so they can build the palate expander that they will put on next week along with the bracket/band that goes on the back teeth. We're on our way to fixing those three cross-bites!
