Durham Museum

On April 9th Natalie's troop went to the Durham Museum in Omaha for activities, learning, and a sleep over. They had snacks, planned crafts and learning activities, tours, even a movie!

Eating at the ice cream shop counter.

Art project.

She made a little windmill and a butterfly.

One of the exhibits had all kinds of life-size Native American stuff. They thought this was a blast!

The guy was telling them how whole families would live in one of these.

Going into an old train. I think it was one of the presidents at one time.

She thought it was pretty cool! :-)

Asking a question.

Getting ready to jump off a trolley.

Inside the entrance of the museum.

Its was or was built to resemble a train station.

Natalie standing in line behind the statue for her ticket.

Nat and one of the girls in her troop.

The next morning before we left we took a picture of all the girls that were able to stay the night.

And a couple by the statues, 'cause that's what mom's do!

They wanted to take silly ones more than serious ones!

Nat and Nikole on the ride home. They were singing a song...can't remember what it was though!

It was fun staying the night with them! I've been impressed by what the girls have done this year! Nat is for sure looking forward to another year in girl scouts!
