Life is crazy. Everyone runs from one place to another trying to get everything done and still have a little fun. Because we live far away from family and friends, I attempt to update this blog to help keep people in the loop of what we're up to.

The Little Things
I got this text from Ethan this morning:
"Love you hope you pass the test"
That was it, but it made my day. Simple, thoughtful, and even said "love you"! Its amazing how good that can make a mom of an 11 year old boy feel! :-)
That is so sweet! Q-tip keeps asking for a phone and I keep saying no. It really doesnt help that when my niece gets home she has a new phone waiting for her. WTF does a 9 yr old who spends every minute at home with mom need a cell phone for? Its not like she can use it at school which is the only place she is without her. UGH, between that and FB I have been getting a lot of the "I wants/I need" rubbish.
Natalie thinks she needs a phone when she's nine too. This is NOT happening. The ONLY reason why Ethan got one right before he turned 10 was because we don't have a home phone (and I'm out of the house a lot). I still can't believe your niece has FB! 10 is the earliest age, I think, but its still a case-by-case, child-by-child situation.
