This morning I got home from Natalie's sleepover around 8:30. At 9:00 I got a call from someone I didn't recognize. A guy and his wife had our DOGS! Apparently they got out, together, and took a wee trip! They ran out of our neighborhood, through a field, and ended up in another housing community. Luckily the people were very much dog people and grabbed them, took them to their house, and played with them until we drove over. The dogs were THRILLED to be playing with new people! ;-) UGH They said that Maggie never left Max's side as they walked them to their house. (They couldn't grab her because she would run or jump away much faster than they could move!) I'm glad Roby put Max's collar back on last night, and that they are safe!!!
(They do have microchips, I suppose I should make sure it has our current address!)

OMG all I could think of while reading this was the movie Homeward Bound. Maggie at Max's side exploring, cut BUT...that would be so frustraiting. Glad they were "saved" by decent people. How in the world did they get out without anyone noticing?
