Here are a couple pictures from when I talked to Natalie's Brownie troop about how important it is to keep their teeth clean. I had no idea what I was doing, and I was surprised at what they knew and told ME! ;-) I did tell them a few things they didn't know, and reminded them why it was so important to keep their teeth clean. We talked about what kinds of foods to eat to keep their teeth healthy and strong, what sugar does to their teeth, how long and how often to brush...and several other things. They were quite entertained by their toothbrushes, and seemed to enjoy the color pages (which will probably end up in the trash...but whatever!).
I think they liked Freddy Flossisaurus most of all!!!
They each had a turn brushing his teeth...I showed most of them how to go in a circle motion instead of just back and forth.
It was very entertaining to see how most of the girls would make the face the dino was making while they were brushing his teeth (smiling/opening)!
I felt a little awkward, but it was fun and they seemed to like it! They even earned a Try-It (badge)!!! I was very happy to help!!! ...and I'll be doing much more of this next year in school!
