We are lucky being stationed here that Roby won't deploy for long periods of time. That is not the case for everyone at this base, however. When Natalie and I were grocery shopping this weekend, we saw this display at the end of one of the isles. I usually don't look at the ends of isles, but this caught my eye. They had a premade box of goodies (with a coupon!) to send to troops from our base who will be deployed over the holidays. I know the stuff in the box isn't all that great, and it isn't much, but I thought it would be nice to do something small for someone else. All we had to do was purchase the box and place it in a bin that the commissary would mail out before a certain date. Hopefully we will make someone smile for a few minutes knowing that they are appreciated and that people back home are thinking of them.
Life here is the same, busy!!! I still have pictures and videos from the kids' Halloween parties...but haven't gotten around to figuring out the video editing program yet. I have a few more pictures to go through as well. Lots of tests coming up...but ALMOST DONE WITH THE FIRST SEMESTER!!! Three more weeks and one day! :-)

I think this is an awesome idea and super convienent. Throw it in your cart on the way by, give it half a thought and BAM you made a difference in someones Christmas and day. I dont care whats inside the darn thing and I doubt if they do either. Its the thought that counts. Im sure every airmen would be able to find something they like and could share the rest.
I think that is SOOOOO awesome and great that you helped. My work sponsers a soldier and I love helping with the care packages.
