Fall Fun

Last week we had a couple nice days before more rain came our way again. The kids took full advantage. Ethan was skateboarding like usual, and Natalie asked me if she could rake the leaves. I wasn't going to say no! We only have a little tree in our yard, but because our neighbor isn't raking his leaves, they blow into our yard. I think her whole reason for wanting to rake was so she could jump in the pile of leaves she made! :-)

She was actually having a blast!

He was walking the skateboard back and forth on one set of wheels then the other. I just like this pic 'cause his tongue is sticking out!

So proud of her little pile!

He was going sooooo fast!

I took a bunch of these pictures because he was very proud of this new skill and he was cracking me up with his enthusiasm and excitement!

She wasn't done yet! More raking to be done!

Raking is hard work, but she can do it!

I love her little grins when she doesn't know I'm taking the picture!

Ready...

Go!

Woooah!

Success!

I love his grin in the next one. I don't know why, but its one of my favorites.

Then again, this one is pretty cute too.

He was rotating ALL the way around.

Just having fun!

Finally, what she had been waiting for!

She even re-piled the leaves and let Ethan jump in!

Before I went back in, Ethan had to show me how he could jump his scooter over stuff.

Getting leaves out of her hair just to do it again!

I don't remember what he was showing me. Something about pogo/peg jumping...I dunno. It was cute though!

These next two pics crack me up! Its what I get for getting up close and personal!

The smile...

...is simply...

...priceless!

They were having fun, and I was needed a stress relief (it was the same time as all my tests). I know I take WAY too many pictures when I do this, and I don't need to post so many (there are TONS that I don't post!)...but its fun, and they are growing so fast. I really hope that people see these simple pictures and feel closer to them in some small way.
