This pic has absolutely nothing to do with school...but the dogs crack me up! And when I'm stressed, a laugh is always a good thing! When I just came downstairs, this is what I saw on our back porch:
They love each other!

I made it through the first week of school! No mental breakdowns, no crying (which I thought I would do at least at home!), no thoughts of "I shouldn't be doing this"...but a whole lot of "what have I got myself...and Roby...into?!?!"
One of my teachers put it into perspective a bit. High school is a step up from middle school. College is a step up from up from high school. Well, this program is a step up from regular college. We are at school from 8-5 most days (we get a half day on Friday unless they need us for something). Then have all our studying on top of that. It is a LOT. I'm scared, and this week has not eased it whatsoever. I am thinking, however, that once I get over the initial shock of "I need to be at this class, or this school, with which books/supplies, when...and study for what class when" things will fall together a little better. Right now things are in such a jumble that I don't even know where to begin. (And I still need to buy another book...)
I don't really know what else to say about it at this point. I'll be busy, very busy...and so will my wonderful wonderful husband! I'm excited...but very very VERY overwhelmed.
If anyone wants a dental cleaning in Feb-March PLEASE let me do it!!! ;-) I need people but don't know enough people in the Omaha area!!! (Creighton uses all insurances or the cost is around $50.)
