End Of First Day

They had a GREAT day! I had nothing to worry about! Once Ethan walked her inside, Natalie knew right where to go! She's a big girl and I need to let her do things without worrying so much! They both told me about friends they made, things they did, and things they have to look forward to. I'm so proud of my kids!!! They are military kids to say the least! :-)

After school I was waiting by the front entrance to pick them up. Instead of lining up on all sides of the school and getting out on all those sides, all the kids get out in one place. I think this is great! The first child I recognize was...Nikole! I took a pic for Fonda!

Then came Ethan...

Closely followed by Natalie!

Full of smiles!

Group picture!

And because I forgot in the morning, a "traditional" first day of school pic with mom. Cheesy, I know! haha

When we left the school, I thought it would be a good idea to get some gas...so we could make it back to school today! :-) That's always a good thing! They were talking over each other the entire time telling me all about their day, the kids, their teachers, anything and everything they could think of. It was fabulous!

I can't remember what this was for, but it was right after he told me that one of his new friends is the other Ethan in his class!

Natalie was then telling me about the "special" girl in her class that she helped get a library book for, and about the tube that she has to have to help her breathe. I was very proud of how matter-of-fact she was talking about it, instead of being freaked out or making fun of the girl. She is now a "good friend."

Of course we had to get icees because it was super hot and we were at a gas station!

Our kids rock and I love them more than words could every describe! And I'm glad Roby was able to take them in the morning with me yesterday!!!
