As this post...posts, I'll be dropping Natalie off at the before-school-program and then driving to my first day of the dental hygiene at Iowa Western. I don't feel prepared, I'm nervous as heck, but I'm ready to get started already! On Saturday I decided it was time to organize all my books and supplies so all I would have to do was study. (In May at our orientation we were given a LOT of homework and our first test is on Friday.)
Most of my books and syllabuses (the syllabuses have all of our power points in them already, but I don't have one for one of my classes, I'm not sure why). Two of my books are in binders as one is a $300 book that we only use for a couple weeks, so I copied someones. The other was falling out of the binding, so I ripped it out, hole punched it and put it in a binder as well...what can I say, I'm cheap!

I keep telling people that I want to "Bedazzle" my tackle-box (for our supplies). They keep laughing for some odd reason! haha
I have the coolest purple flashlight EVER! I had a red one until Roby and I were at a store and I saw the purple one. I, of course, did an over-dramatic-girlie-gasp! So he got it for me and he is using the red one! He needed one anyway, but was probably going to get black or some other manly color like that. ;-) I love him! I'm very scared of all the "extra" that I'm putting on him and the kids, but I know that it will be worth it in the end...only 22 months!
My books for ONE class. I tried to put my books and syllabuses in my backpack for my first two classes, and they didn't fit. I'll have to carry at least one binder the first day. I'm hoping that we won't need to bring all our books all the time!!! Either that or I'll need to take two bags!
Tomorrow we get our super expensive instruments! I'm excited to see what all we get!

I already have a ton of pictures in Photoshop...but I don't know if/when I'll get to them. I'm seriously thinking that if I do get to post it will just be pictures with very little writing if any. Sorry in advance if you don't see anything for long periods of time...

Today is the big day, good luck! That's crazy about the $300 book that you only use for a couple weeks! I think your a genius for copying them. We all know life gets busy(shit I have not posted in FOREVER and I don't go to school or have kids!) and we forgive you but I am excited to hear about school =]
I hope today went fabulous and that your nerves are now at ease. I had to laugh a little at your avoidance of the 300 buck book and your solution. Over the years J and I have ran into some very pricey books that were ultimately ruined in the flood, talk about frustraiting. I cant wait to hear what your new "instruments" are. Woot woot new stuff is awesome.
