Yikes

This morning Ethan told me that the teacher Natalie had last year is going to teach FIFTH grade next year. What?!?! She can hardly teach kindergarten!!! How is she going to teach a room full of rowdy ten and eleven year olds important information?!?! I don't understand that move! Yet another confirmation of the decision to transfer the kids to the school closer to our new house!!

He could have gotten her next year! Yikes for sure!

Yesterday I spent a good three house scrubbing the oven, stove top, and oven racks. This was all after the "self-cleaning" cycle. Yet another of those things that I don't think the previous owners kept up on. Oh well. Its clean now, sparkly clean! I can actually feel comfortable using it!

I also gave the dogs "baths" in the backyard yesterday! I was surprised that Maggie just stood there the whole time! I thought she would fight it and try to run away! But she stood there and enjoyed the whole experience! (Probably because she had her bath first and got the warm water in the hose, while Max got a cold bath! Poor Max!!!) A little while later, when I took her out to "go potty," I swear it looked like she was molting! It looked like she had clumps of fur that I had never seen before just falling off her. I grabbed her brush (that the kids said they had used before her bath), and took a whole two dogs worth of hair off of her. I guess the heat (70 degrees) and the bath made her lose her winter undercoat. I'm just glad to get most of it off outside instead of in the house!

I'm 99.9% done with my online Digital Photography class. I finished up all I could last night. I have to take a self-portrait, add it to my portfolio for that class and turn it in! I still have a good 6-12 hours of work left in Medical Terminology...ugh. Its all due on the 8th. I also have a few hours of at home as well as a week and a half of in class time left of my in-class Photography class. Then two weeks off!

Pictures will come, I promise!!! But for now, its time for laundry and homework...

A two week break sounds divine, I hope it comes quickly.

Wow, you are a busy mom! FYI, warm water will help a dog shed their loose hair sooner. :) Can't wait to see the pics! Hugs!

Plans...CLEAN!!! Paint Natalie's room. Go through boxes, put things away in our house so it can feel more like a home, go through other boxes so we can have a yard sale at some point, clean some more...and if I'm lucky I'll hopefully get to read a book!!! ;-)
