I've been trying all day to get this post ready. But with school, packing, cleaning and trying to load 30-second to two-minute video clips...well I'm just now getting it done. Hope everyone had a happy Earth Day! I don't know what you're supposed to do exactly... :-)
Last night, the first graders at Natalie's school had their singing concert. They performed eight songs for us. It was short and sweet, and so so adorable!!! I took a couple pictures right when it was starting and let Fonda use my little camera to do video of the first song as her camera has a very small memory card that would only take a few seconds of video. After the first song I decided to go to the back of the gym and take video from there. Most of the clips are not as zoomed in so I could get Nikole as well as Natalie in them, others are going back and forth between the girls. At one point I gave up, figuring that I was the one that came prepared and wanted video of my daughter!!! ;-) I'm all for helping a friend out, but not at the expense of missing out on my own kids' event.

Here are a couple pics:
I'm glad its not my child picking their nose! ;-) Although Natalie's expression is a bit odd.

Realizing where I was.
(Still picking...)
Doing the motions to a song.
And not its time for the video portion of our blog post!
"Out My Window"
"She's Our Planet"
"Falling Rain"
"Earth Day Helper"
"Big Old Storm A-Comin'"
"My Earth"
"Singin' In The Rain"
"Rainbow"
Its so fun to watch your kids up there! Nat seemed a bit distracted at times. This surprised me as she'd been talking about the songs for days! She was so excited when we picked her up from her class because each of the kids got a pretty flower!!! We all told her what a great job she did and she beamed the rest of the evening! I love that joy only childhood possesses!!!

OMG the nose picker was totally awesome!
Yup, the point of the concert was spring and Earth Day. I thought it was pretty cool! Getting the kids to think more about the planet and everything around them!!!
