Most of you know that I'm taking photography classes this semester in college. One of my recent assignments was to use studio lighting. This was during the time Roby and I were sick. Instead of getting a zero, I pulled out the lighting I have (and have never used) and recruited Natalie to be my subject. (The rest of the class did this in class and took pictures of each other...I think my pictures turned out much better!!! ;-) ) The pictures I'm posting today are what I turned in for the assignment; one portrait with the subject facing away from the main light, portrait facing the main light, and three "unusual" uses of studio lights. Tomorrows post are my favorite pictures from the three or so hours we were taking pictures (I was having issues trying to get the lights to work correctly with my camera). Natalie was a fabulous subject!!! I had a blast working with her and cant wait to use my lights again!
Away from main light.
I got 30/30 on my assignment! And I LOVE the pictures I got!!! Much better than simple snapshots!
