Pedestrain Bridge

Over a month ago I posted videos of the kids singing "Hey There Delilah" on our way to the zoo. The zoo didn't happen because it was too busy, so we went to the new Pedestrian Bridge between Omaha and Council Bluffs, Iowa instead.

On the way to the bridge.

Skipping along as the other two kids walk! So girly!

The bridge that crosses the Missouri River.

Looking over the edge at the "mirror" building and to see if they were over water yet.

Fonda and Nikole.

Someone had written in chalk "Nebraska" facing the Nebraska side, and a few feet away "Iowa" facing the Iowa side.

Looking at the (murky) water below)

Asking if they could pet the dog (they did ask our permission first--good girls!).

Holding hands!

The reason for this trip was partially for my photography class. I needed pictures that had to do with quality of light and how it affected my subject. So there are several similar shots and pics slightly different than what I would normally take. But I guess that's part of the fun of a photography class! I'm learning a lot and applying it to my everyday snapshots!

Ethan cracks me up!

When we got to the Iowa side, we saw a park about a quarter of a mile away. We had to let the kids play! It was the first "nice" day in weeks! I'll post pictures from that tomorrow!
