Ethan's 10th B-Day Party -- Part 1

If you expected a few pictures of Ethan's party...sorry to disappoint...there are tons as usual! ;-) I have a few videos, but for some reason when I loaded them from my camera it didn't work right, and I haven't gotten around to doing it again.

All but one of his friends we invited showed up with plenty of time to spare before heading to the bowling alley. One showed up as we were getting ready to pull out (I left a not on the door...). We got there, got shoes for everyone, grabbed a couple light balls, and were ready to bowl! The boys had a lane for two hours. The girls, Roby, our friend Fonda, and I had another lane for just an hour. I figured that we would be perfectly fine just playing half the time and with ordering pizza when our hour was up it would work out great.

Figuring out whose turn it was next.

The bowling alley gives the birthday kid a bowling pin with a marker so everyone at the party can sign it. I think this is a brilliant idea and a great keepsake!!!

They were all going crazy and having a blast! I was thrilled that there was no one next to us for the first hour and a half!

Crazy kids! (I had my external flash, but it was doing crazy things as the ceiling wasn't flat...with all the lighting and different things going on, the light was bouncing everywhere!)

Waiting for her ball to finally get to the other end. :-)

Such excitement!

Natalie found a spot to dance between turns!

He was laughing 'cause he knew I was going to mess him up with the flash!

Love this one!

I always want to know what they're talking about!

A good throw!

She was so enthusiastic the whole time! Hi-5's all the time, for everyone!!! I love that about her!

Watching his ball.

Fonda teasing Nikole.

I tried to take a picture before my flash's battery had time to charge again, which resulted in this:

I think it looks pretty cool!!!

Ethan won the first game! Then lost the second! ;-)

About half way through the second game they all started calming down a little.

The girls brought some drawing things to keep busy while the boys bowled for the second hour.

Eating extremely greasy bowling alley pizza!

Because we now have two vehicles, Roby and I each took three boys (the girls rode with Fonda). We exchanged some very entertaining conversations from the short ride to and from the bowling alley! Just one conversation from my car:

Boy 1: I was born in Japan!

Boy 2: I was made in Japan, but was born in Mississippi. When I get older I'm going to get a tattoo that says "Made In Japan"!
~Car full of giggles!~

That looks like so much fun. The action shot of Ethan is awesome. Glad you all had fun. So all bowling alleys serve greasy pizza, good to know. Love the conversation. Made in Japan...sweet! Sometimes less information is good. That said I think we told Q-tip the other day he was made in Oklahoma, D'oh. Cant wait to see the rest of the photos.
