Decorating Ornaments

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!

* * * * * * * * * *

When I was at a store buying a few things I needed, I found a little set to decorate ornaments. I thought it would be really simple and fun for the kids to do. We finally got around to it yesterday afternoon. Of course they both wanted the snowman, so we had to draw pieces of paper out of a hat with either "snowman" or "circle" to decide who got what. The first one with three that said "snowman" got it. Natalie drew three in a row! Ethan was ok with it, as he said, "Maybe next year I'll get the snowman."

Getting ready to color their ornaments. Ethan drew out what he wanted as he had to be a little more creative.

Cheeeeeesy grin!

Concentrating!

All done!

Half way there.

He then realized that he spelled "Merry" wrong and was a little upset. I told him that it was perfect, as when he gets older he will look back and see how hard he was trying and that it was cute!

Nat ran into the front room to show Roby, then came back because she wanted a picture with it "showing better."

Finding a place for it on the tree...with all the envelopes in the tree from family, it was a little harder finding room! No complaints from the kids!!! ;-)

She was so excited about all this (and Christmas almost being here!), that she ran back into the kitchen and gave Ethan a big kiss on the cheek before he knew what was happening!!!

Still working hard.

After they were done, they each got two (yummy....mmmmm) cookies!

(I like taking random pictures if you can't tell!!!)

Ethan making faces! He is soooo his dad's son!

Huh???

This face cracks me up! What a nut ball!

Natalie joining in on the face-making fun!

Cracking each other up!

Ethan's finished ornament.

It took him a while to find an empty spot!
