Ethan was very excited this afternoon when he did the countdown! He was jumping up and down and making all kinds of faces! Maybe he's a little excited for Christmas...or it might have something to do with not having school because of the bad weather???!!!

(I still don't know why she insists on keeping Ethan's old pj's. She has plenty of her own, and I told her she didn't have to wear them! Maybe she likes him after all!!!)

If you haven't noticed yet, I love this time of year! One of my favorite parts is getting all the cards in the mail! Even the simple ones that say:
"Happy Holidays! From the _____ Family"
Many come with pictures, yearly updates, or personal notes. (I'm lame and tend to only give our blog address instead of actually writing something!!!) They are all fun to open and tape on the door to look at until I finally decide to take them down--usually after New Years.
At times I wonder if people get annoyed with how "prompt" I am with cards...especially Christmas cards. When we lived in Germany, I had to send them the first week of December to get them out in time...I guess I have a hard time not getting them ready in advance now! I had our cards ready for almost two weeks by the time I sent them out this year. It was difficult for me to let them sit here until the 8th! I didn't feel quite as bad, though, when I got our first card the next day!!! ;-)
