Grandma Nan's Visit -- "Pumpkin Patch"

Roby's mom, Nancy, was able to fly in before heading to Chicago for work. We were all thrilled to have her for four days! Although I'm sure she was exhausted, the kids' school had a "Pumpkin Patch" family night that we went to not long after she arrived. We ate pizza and painted pumpkins. We didn't go last year, but I think we may make it a tradition while we are here!

Getting ready to chow down!

When we were done eating I grabbed some paint...and extra napkins for clean up!

We all joined in painting their little pumpkins!

Cheese!

I love how her concentration requires her tongue to stick out! :-P

She had a painting plan before we went. Gma Nan was in charge of lips!

Fangs!!!
(And boogers...because he's a boy!)

Almost done!

I tried...but he doesn't like to smile! ;-)

hahaha Someone else there to take a pic helps!

All done and ready to head home.

Breaking up some bickering!
