Natalie has had long hair as long as she's had hair it seems! It grows extremely quickly (in my opinion), and is difficult to take care of. She is almost seven and can't brush or wash her it herself. I don't expect her to do it all...but it would be nice if she could take a shower by herself at least now and then! Off and on I will ask her if she wants to trim it or cut it a bit shorter. Up until today she has said "yes" then minutes later "NO!!!" Today she started saying that she wanted to do it herself, and I explained that with how long it was she wouldn't be able to. We talked for a half hour or so and decided to cut it!!! I can still hardly believe that she let me!!!

I have to admit I was totally freaking out when I realized what you were blogging about. I was so afraid that you would totally cut off her hair, I dont know why but I was. I LOVE her new hair, it is adorable on her. 8 inches is a hell of a lot but at the same time it doesnt look that short either. I LOVE it Nat, you look beautiful. I like that she will be able to manage it a bit better because WOW she had some long ass hair! Way to go, lookin good.
Oh my. My mom cried when I came home from the barber shop. She knew what was going to happen. The barber, Henry Myers, cut off my blog curls, some 71 years ago. I also stopped wearing dresses about the same time. My new figure impressed Tommy Rice, the blacksmith.
I just imagine she will be happy with her new look especially if everyone takes an unusual interest in how pretty she looks.

Kayleys hair is just as long as Nats was...Nick wants me to cut it too. But im just not ready for the frist hair cut of my last baby!! Her hair looks good at that length, you did a good job cutting it!!!! Im sure she will get alot of compliments on her hair....you better watch out for those boys!!LOL
OMG! The new haircut looks so great on her! She's always been so cute and this doesn't change a thing! :)
