Family Visit -- Part One

Its hard to believe that a month has already gone by since two of Roby's sisters came to visit! Time always seems to go by too quickly! They drove down from Washington in an RV with three of their kids. (I'm still amazed!) It was almost a two week trip as they visited many landmarks and family on the way down. We were their last stop, and I hope a nice rest after all that they had already done!

Roby's brother-in-law flew in the day before so he could drive back to WA with Michelle (Shastyn flew home). When they got to Nebraska that Friday evening, we headed over to let the kids play for a bit. I still love how our kids have cousins similar in age! I just wish we lived closer so they could know each other better! (I guess Nebraska is closer than Germany!)

They played at the park for quite some time...until they couldn't see anymore! When they came back to the RV they chased frogs, fireflies and each other until we were all getting eaten alive by mosquitoes!

Being the youngest, it was hard for him to be included all the time...I think he got plenty of attention from the adults though!
We were "crashing" a car off the table over and over!

Cheese!
(Did I mention that they were here during the hottest part of our summer! Their cheeks were so read and they were for sure sweating almost as much as they were drinking!)

Trying to get the frog again!

Watching a movie before bedtime.

We spent the next two days just hanging out. The adults talked and laughed while the kids played outside, or when it was too hot, with Legos for hours and hours. They built an amazing city together.

Such big eyes!

Roby must have been hungry!!! ;-)

I love Shastyn's face in this pic!!!

She passed out...it was quite late!!!
I think Natalie covered her up.

Still building.
The evening before they left Nat cuddled with her uncle and cousin while the boys played.

Having family visit for the first time must have been so much fun. It looks like the kids loved it. I can only dream of the kids seeing family again...
