I had to post the video and a picture I took when I picked the kids up from their first day of school. It wasn't the screaming run to mom that I got last year, but she looks so happy! And Ethan running over and being excited to see me melts my heart!!! (Her teacher gives them little notes on the first day of school/when they have had a good week with a small treat attached. This gets them to read before they can have the treat, and makes them feel very special!)
They both know a couple kids in their classes. I can foresee Natalie catching up to where she needs to be quickly! Ethan's teacher is strict from what I hear...but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. By Friday he was telling me all kinds of things they were doing already as well as telling me about different kids he was playing with recess!
