Crazy Day

In mid March the kids had a week of fun activities at school. One of the days was "crazy day." They could wear unmatched clothing, crazy hair...whatever they could come up with! It took some convincing to get them to wear their shirts backwards (and in Ethan's case, inside out). As I was fixing Natalie's hair, I asked Ethan if I could try to make his hair stick up. Because of how long it was, Roby didn't think I would be able to do it. Never underestimate a woman that was once overused hair-spray, curling irons, and a blow dryer! A wee bit of spray gel, moose and the blow dryer produced hair that lasted all day!

Throughout the day, Ethan got comments from teachers saying they loved his hair, and all the kids said he looked like a mad scientist/professor! One of his friends parents went to school that day to have lunch with their kids. The dad asked Ethan if he could rub his head and Ethan replied something to the effect of, "No, it will collapse!"
