Yesterday Natalie walked out of the school with a bright red envelope in hand. I didn't think much of it because her friends and her are always drawing each other pictures during free time. When we got home and she was showing me her papers for the day she told me that the envelope was given to her by a kid named Nathaniel. Hmmmm I thought. You don't have any boys in your class by that name... She then told me that he's in the class across the hall from her, and when they were on their way to recess he gave it to her friend to give to her...seriously.
Here is the picture Nathaniel drew for my baby girl (she will forever be my baby girl!)

A love letter in kindergarten, holy moses! You've got your hands full already. Thankfully she doesnt understand, has Ethan seen it?
I do think its funny how at that age boys are willing to express their feelings where as when they get older they have to be "macho". Very cute.
Did you check him out yet and see if hes cute? I so would! Then again I have some pretty high expectations and would have no problem kicking some tramp out my front door.
I'm not surprised....She's beautiful! So, you are going to laminate and frame the note, right? It's so sad to think that when I met you guys she was only like 2 years old! She's grown to be so awesome!
This is so funny!! You're reaction to her Red Envelope that is. I's totally make sure that i keep it and put it in a scrpabook of some sort for her to see when she gets older.
I'm like Steph, have you seen the kids yet? And Goodness Gracious..I have a crush in Kindergarten? YIKES!! I'm not ready for all of that!
I do understand, she will always be your baby girl!
How precious and innocent.
