At The Beach: Seattle Trip--Science Center (July 5th)

After just a few blocks of walking, we made it to the Seattle Science Center. They had a "Colossal Fossils" exhibit going on that the kids were excited to check out! They even had some things to do at the entrance!

Shastyn and Connor playing Tic-Tac-Toe

Waiting in line...

It was a bit loud...Nat had to cover her ears.

Touching the button with her nose, without using her hands.

Making BIG bubbles!

Mark showing Natalie that she can be on TV too!

You can kind of see them in there.

Looking at the "sea creatures."

These are always fun!!!

Now the insect area...

Natalie wanted to pose with this guy...

...I don't know where she got this, but it was funny!

We just had to go to the butterfly room!!! Natalie was seriously impressed!

When we first walked in they kept landing on Catie!

Looking at the chrysalises.

Caution: Don't step on butterfly

That's a lot of new butterflies!!!

Daddy showing Nat some pretty ones.

Looking at the bees...

Finally the dinosaur Exhibit.

Sitting in a foot print.

We were all very tired on the way back to the ferries. About ten blocks before we got there Natalie was exhausted...I carried her for about five and Roby carried her the rest of the way...most of which she was asleep! The kids had a great time, and next time we plan a trip like that we'll check into the bus rout!!! :-)
